Hidden Harvest Shares Mission at City Council Meetings Ahead of Annual November Luncheon

Coachella, CA — Hidden Harvest Executive Director Francisco Linares is visiting City Council meetings across the Coachella Valley to share updates on the organization’s growing impact and to invite councilmembers, staff, and residents to the Annual November Luncheon Fundraiser.

During each visit, Linares highlights Hidden Harvest’s year-round work rescuing and distributing free, fresh produce to low-income seniors, families, and community organizations throughout the region. He also expresses gratitude for community support and emphasizes the importance of local partnerships in addressing rising food insecurity.

“Our goal is to connect with city leaders, thank them for their support, and extend a warm invitation to our upcoming luncheon,” said Linares. “This event directly fuels our mission and the work we do every day.”

The Annual November Luncheon is one of Hidden Harvest’s most significant fundraising events, with proceeds supporting programs that bring fresh, healthy produce to neighbors in need.  The event will take place at Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage on Thursday, November 20, 2025.
