Dear Supporter of Hidden Harvest,

As we enter this season of giving and gratitude, I’ve been thinking a lot about the people we serve—and about the promises we make to them. Hidden Harvest has always promised to show up, to bring comfort and dignity, and to ease the fear that comes with not knowing where your next meal will come from. Thanks to you, we have kept that promise through one of our most challenging and hopeful years yet.

Because of generous donors like you, we purchased a new refrigerated truck this year—a gift that changed everything. We hoped it would allow us to double our distributions; instead, it tripled them. That means three times the seniors who no longer have to choose between groceries and their medication. Three times the families who can put fresh produce on the table without sacrificing other essentials. Three times the children who are learning what healthy food looks like.

At a recent distribution, a senior became emotional as she held her bag of produce and said, “I can’t believe you work this hard to bring us food this beautiful—and that it’s always free. It means so much to know we’re not forgotten. You really care about us.” Her words stayed with me long after I left that market and were a powerful reminder that what we deliver is far more than fruits and vegetables. It is dignity, comfort, and the reassurance that someone is looking out for them.

Thanks to dedicated supporters like you, thousands of our neighbors will enter this season and new year knowing that Hidden Harvest hasn’t forgotten them. But as need continues to rise, we must keep our promise stronger than ever. I humbly ask for your continued support so we can ensure that hope—and healthy food—keeps arriving for every neighbor who is counting on us.
