Hidden Harvest Continues to Double Produce Distributions, adds new senior markets

Coachella, CA — Hidden Harvest is proud to report that it distributed 43,429 pounds of fresh produce in October 2025, more than double the 17,910 pounds delivered in October 2024. This continued growth reflects not only the organization’s expanded capacity but also the rising need for fresh, healthy food across the Coachella Valley—a need that Hidden Harvest is committed to meeting with the support of the community.

The addition of a new refrigerated box truck earlier this year has played a key role in enabling higher-volume rescues and more efficient routes. Hidden Harvest has also expanded its reach by adding three new Senior Market locations—two in Indian Wells and one in Rancho Mirage—providing greater access to fresh produce for seniors who need it most.

“We’re encouraged by what we’ve been able to accomplish, and we’re reminded daily of how many of our neighbors rely on this work,” said Francisco Linares, Executive Director of Hidden Harvest.

Hidden Harvest extends heartfelt appreciation to the donors and partners whose support fuels continued growth and helps ensure that more families and seniors receive the fresh produce they depend on.
