Strengthening Our Community Partnerships
One of Hidden Harvest's greatest strengths is the network of nonprofit organizations that help place fresh, nutritious produce directly into the hands of our neighbors in need.
As rescued produce becomes available and our distribution capacity continues to grow, we are able to expand support and begin serving additional community organizations that share our mission of improving food access throughout the Coachella Valley.
We are excited to highlight two organizations that recently began receiving fresh produce through Hidden Harvest: Alzheimer's Coachella Valley and the YMCA at The Crossings.
Alzheimer's Coachella Valley provides invaluable support, education, and resources for individuals living with dementia and the family members who care for them. By providing fresh fruits and vegetables through their programs, we're helping ensure participants have access to healthy foods that support overall wellness.
At the YMCA at The Crossings, fresh produce is reaching residents through a supportive housing community where access to nutritious food can make a meaningful difference for individuals and families working toward stability and independence.
Every community partnership is unique. Some organizations receive regular distributions, while others are served as produce availability, seasonal harvests, and transportation capacity allow. As Hidden Harvest continues to grow, we look forward to expanding opportunities to work with even more organizations dedicated to serving our community.
Together, our network of community partners allows rescued produce to reach thousands of children, seniors, families, and individuals each month. We are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside organizations that share our commitment to reducing food waste, improving nutrition, and strengthening the health of our community.
