Hidden Harvest Delivers Over 5,000 Pounds of Fresh Produce to Coachella Valley Rescue Mission
Coachella, CA — Hidden Harvest answered the call when Coachella Valley Rescue Mission (CVRM) faced low food supplies, delivering over 5,000 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables including carrots, peaches, potatoes, onions, strawberries, and tomatoes.
The donation ensures CVRM can continue serving hundreds of individuals and families who rely on the Mission for meals and support. “Moments like this remind us what community is all about—neighbors helping neighbors,” said CVRM representatives.
Francisco Linares, Executive Director of Hidden Harvest, added, “No good food should go to waste while people in our community are hungry. We are proud to partner with CVRM, who works tirelessly to serve those in need.”
Hidden Harvest rescues millions of pounds of surplus produce each year from local farms and packing houses, distributing it through senior markets and community partners like CVRM, ensuring neighbors across the Coachella Valley have access to fresh, nutritious food.
