Hidden Harvest and BIGHORN Cares Partner to Distribute Free, Fresh Produce to Local Children and Their Families

Coachella, CA — Hidden Harvest is proud to partner with BIGHORN Cares to bring fresh, healthy produce directly to families in need. Through this collaboration, Kelly Levy, Director of Charities for BIGHORN Cares, worked alongside Francisco Linares, Executive Director of Hidden Harvest, to coordinate special distributions at two vital youth-serving organizations: the Family YMCA of the Desert in Palm Desert and the Boys & Girls Club of Indio.

Hidden Harvest donated a total of 3,600 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables — including 2,400 pounds to the YMCA and 1,200 pounds to the Boys & Girls Club. These distributions helped ensure that hundreds of children and their families had access to nutritious food, free of charge.

“Collaborations like this are what make the Coachella Valley stronger,” said Francisco Linares. “We are grateful to BIGHORN Cares for their commitment to helping us serve our neighbors in need.”

By joining forces, Hidden Harvest and BIGHORN Cares continue their shared mission of uplifting the community and ensuring that nutritious food is accessible to all.
