Hidden Harvest is proud to partner with the Clinton Initiative in the Coachella Valley.

The Clinton Health Matters Initiative (CHMI) - project of the William J., Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation - works to improve the health and well being of all people by activating individuals, communities, and organizations to make meaningful contributions to the health of others. Currently, the CHMI has active hubs in the inaugural communities of the Coachella Valley and Little Rock, Arkansas and has added  the Northeast Florida region and that of Greater Houston.

Former President Clinton brought his vigor and star power endorsement to Hidden Harvest in January 2013 when he visited our produced-packed headquarters in Coachella. Along with the former President was NBC health correspondent Nancy Snyderman. Ms. Synderman and Mr. Clinton showcased their appreciation for the work done by Hidden Harvest in a segment on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams. The segment was broadcast live from Hidden Harvest with dozens of loyal HH volunteers present to wash, sort and pack local produce under Mr. Clinton’s watchful eye.

Mr. Clinton also took the opportunity in the national media spotlight to promote HH’s “Just ONE Row” initiative - a fantastic boost to our concept of asking farmers for “just one row” of crops that they grow. This one row would then be harvested and distributed through HH’s network.

Mr. Clinton’s visit and endorsement of  Hidden Harvest is proof positive that the brightest and most influential advocates for health see HH as an innovative model worth replicating around the country.
